Find flavorful meals that build you up in a modern setting at the True Food Kitchen at BLVD Place Just west of Post Oak on San Felipe in Uptown.

True Food Kitchen serves up globally inspired cuisine like starters, salads, sandwiches, entrees and fresh-squeezed juices. The menu has been designed about the anti-inflammatory diet developed by Dr. Andrew Weil and aims to counteract chronic inflammation to help people reach and maintain optimum health.

Crisp and airy, the bustling modern restaurant features an open kitchen overlooking the dining room. Soothing woods contrast nicely with the bright green accents, while large windows fill the space with natural light.

The eco-friendly restaurant boasts chairs made from recycled plastic soda bottles and reclaimed wood floors.

The menu is diversified around a wide array of preferences, offering a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian, organic and gluten-free options, along with dishes for those following a Paleo or Mediterranean diet. It draws inspiration from Mediterranean, Asian and traditional American flavors and features a diverse selection of dishes from pizza to tacos. Because it relies on the best ingredients available during any given season, the menu rotates every few months.

The menu does feature year-round classics like the “inside out” quinoa burger, Panang curry and turkey lasagna, as well as seasonal dishes like heirloom tomato and watermelon salad, corn and eggplant pizza and strawberry rhubarb crisp. The new Houston menu features several new items not found at any True Food Kitchen locations, including kale and avocado dip, a gluten-free Thai green papaya salad with kelp noodles, and gluten-free chicken tandoori kebabs.

The restaurant sources produce from organic local Texas farms including Home Sweet Farms Co-Op in Brenham, Gunderman Farms in Wharton, Generation Farms in Corsicana and Bluebonnet Farms in Bellville.
