
Spend your 4th of July at Freedom Over Texas, Houston’s premiere Independence Day Celebration happening in the newly renovated Eleanor Tinsley Park in Downtown Houston along Buffalo Bayou on Friday, July 4, 2014 from 4pm to 10pm.
Mayor Annise Parker‘s Official 4th of July Celebration is loaded with American goodness including live music, vintage aircraft flyovers, a zone dedicated to kids, military equipments like tanks and helicopters that represent all five branches of the armed forces, a margarita bash and All-American beer garden, representatives from the Texans, Rockets, Astros and Dymamo, and one of the largest fireworks displays in the country.
Jennifer Nettles headlines the event, which leads right into the spectacular fireworks extravaganza.
