Bring your bread crumbs and pedal through McGovern Lake on both weekdays and weekends!

Rent the Hermann Park Pedal Boats with three of your favorite people. As long as the oldest is over 18 years old and the youngest can sit on their own, you can rent the boat for 30 minute increments on the McGovern Lake.

Buy your tickets from the Kinder Train Station Gift Store and jump on the boats by the Pinewood Cafe. If you didn’t bring your own Cheerios or bread crumbs, stop by the cafe for some crackers for the ducks.

Pedal out around the fountain. Either stay clear or get soaked. It’s up to you! Bring yourself a plastic bag for your purse or phone if your kids insist on taking the wet route.

In the middle of the water you will find lots of ducks and fish that are ready to eat up your crackers. Toss them out and let the kids giggle with delight.

At the end of your 30 minute session, you’ll sure to be hot from your outing. Pedal back to the boat dock and grab a drink and ice cream from Pinewood Cafe!
