  • The Magician’s Nephew at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – See the earliest events in C.S. Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia series in this play that sees Digory and his friend Polly battle the evil Queen Jadis. Repeats on Friday. 11am.
  • Bar Boheme’s Cultured Cocktails Supporting the Stark Naked Theatre Company – Drop into the eclectic Montrose favorite for drinks and help support the nonprofit devoted to keeping Houston artists of all crafts in Houston. 5pm to 7pm.
  • Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Minute Maid Park – It’s a science meets faith rematch as the Angels return to Minute Maid Park. You’ll likely find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale market. 6:10pm.
  • Little Joe y La Familia in Concert at Discovery Green | FREE– Tejano legens Little Joe y La Familia take the stage for this week’s UHD Thursday Concert. Little Joe’s son, Ady, opens the show with his own band DaHeBeGeBees! 6:30pm to 9pm.
  • Fal Skye in Concert at Kemah Boardwalk | FREE – Rock classics fill the boardwalk at this week’s Rock the Dock concert series. 7pm to 10pm.
  • Backstreet Boys and April Lavigne in Concert in The Woodlands – Everybody will want it that way at this show. Tickets range from $39 to $175. You may be able to find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale market. 8pm.
  • Sizzling Summer Dance at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – MET Dance presents their annual summer dance concert, including a sneak peek of a world premiere by New York based choreographer Joe Celej and 2014 Emerging choreographer Steven Vaughn along with some of the MET’s most popular pieces. 8:30pm.
  • King Fu Treachery, Moodie Black and more at Notsuoh – Rock out at this showcase of noise, industrial, and glitchcore at Notsuoh on the 300 block of Main in Downtown. $3 cover; $8 cover for ages 18 to 20. Doors 8:30pm.
