To make this even better, the city offers free swim lessons for kids ages 6 to 13.

Remember that in addition to the pools, Houston has 23 free splashpads that are open all year long. That means there are at least 60 places to cool off as Houston heats up!Splashpads are open every day.  For the pools, be sure to check on schedule and holiday hours before heading out.
