Go 60 stories up the JP Morgan Chase Building to visit the highest public observation deck in Downtown Houston. And do it for free.

The JP Morgan Chase Building is 75 stories tall, making it the tallest building in Houston and one of the top 12 tallest buildings in the United States.

The observation deck is on the 60th floor and during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, this observation deck is open to the public for free.

When you arrive at the building, find your way to the reception desk. The guard on duty can point you to to the express elevators. These elevators travel at 1,000 feet per minute, making the trip to the sky lobby just one minute long.

On the 60th floor, there is a long wall of glass with views of downtown, NRG Park (formerly Reliant), the Texas Medical Center, the Galleria and Greenway Plaza.

Kids love the adventure and the view. Parents love the air conditioning and the free admission. Be sure to add this to your weekday to-do list!
