See Brooklyn’s internationally celebrated dance group

Catch a performance by the internationally renowned Mark Morris Dance Group of Brooklyn as they offer two performance showcases at Wortham Theater Center on January 31 and February 1, 2014.

One of the world’s leading dance companies, the Mark Morris Dance Group is presenting a repertory program in Houston for two nights only.

Well known for seamlessly pairing dance with music, the company will perform three dances: A Wooden Tree, set to recordings by Ivor Cutler; The Argument, set to music by Robert Schumann; and Festival Dance, set to Piano Trio No. 5 in E Major by Hummel.

The New Yorker called Mark Morris “one of the greatest living choreographers.” Inspired dancers and engaging choreography make this company a must-see for the season.
