Take in a performance of the perennial holiday favorite The Nutcracker, presented by Houston Ballet from Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 29, 2013.
Appropriate for all ages, The Nutcracker is usually a child’s first exposure to the ballet. Telling the story of Clara, her mysterious gift Nutcracker and their subsequent journey to the Land of the Sweets, Tchaikovsky’s ballet features some of the most beloved classical music of all time.
Houston Ballet, called “one of America’s best ballet companies” by the New York Times, presents Ben Stevenson’s production of the classic, complete with a giant, growing Christmas tree, dancing dolls, flying cooks and beautiful snow
