Go Deutsch at Pearland International Fest


Head over to Pearland’s Independence Park for the city’s first ever International Festival, spotlighting Germany and celebrating cultures from around the world  on Saturday, September 21.

Germany takes the stage at Pearland’s first International Festival, which it plans to make a yearly tradition.

Pearland’s own King’s Biergarten, named Best German Restaurant in America for 2012 and 2013, will take over the pavilion and turn it into a preview of their own Oktoberfest celebration beginning a week later.

Live music, cultural dancing performances, activities, international food and vendor booths, children’s entertainment will also draw upon the cultures of Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, the Caribbean and Africa.

Popular Houston Latin Band Mango Punch headlines a live music roster that includes the Gary-Michael Dhal Band, Grupo KacheModulation Band, Sanni M’mairura and more.

At the Wine and Fine Arts VIP Tent, local art and wines from around the world will be on display. Wine samples from select wineries will be available.
