Enjoy a tasty casual lunch at Lola, a crisp, modern diner offering modern southern comfort food in a bright and airy atmosphere.
You’ll find quick and friendly counter service at this warm and open Heights eatery. Lola opened in August 2011 in a small, refreshed 70-year old neighborhood shopping center. With that touch of history, just about everything else about the restaurant exudes freshness.
The restaurant itself is friendly, but no frills. Instead they focus on fixing up tasty offerings like their signature chicken and waffles, “Day after Thanksgiving” sandwich, and chicken salad sandwiches. Despite all of that, they offer plenty of heart healthy, gluten free and vegetarian choices. Click here to see their lunch and dinner menu and here to see their breakfast menu.
Large windows let in natural of light which makes the vivid yellows and blues in the decor pop. Astute visitors will notice that the restaurant’s front door includes a repurposed door from phone booth, painted blue, and will likely enjoy reading the lyrics and phrases on the ceiling.
