Enjoy your Sunday morning gospel with help from Grammy Award-winning Kirk Franklin with this elaborate update on the House of Blues Gospel Brunch favorite on select Sundays.
In 2013, House of Blues reinvigorated its long-popular gospel brunch with the help of Kirk Franklin, who put together a new show featuring explosive energy, contemporary music and fantastic cuisine. The brunch buffet is held on select Sundays, usually twice a month, and tickets include both the meal and the live gospel show.
Everyone seats family style at large tables for this communal brunch and show. The hour-long live gospel show starts after the meal. That first hour of the gospel brunch Houston is devoted to the brunch buffet.
Guests help themselves to a full array of delectables including southwest scrambled eggs, hickory-smoked bacon and breakfast sausage links, buttermilk biscuits and country gravy, red rose breakfast potatoes with sautéed onions and peppers, smoked barbecue chicken, creole chicken jambalaya, and build-your-own Mac and Cheese. Guests can also visit stations serving stations offering freshly cut honey baked ham and beef brisket, build-your-own omelette, and chicken and waffles. White chocolate banana bread pudding, pecan caramel sticky bun, cookies and other treats round out the offering.
Though not included in the ticket price, a Bloody Mary bar features a variety of vodka and bloody mary mixes, assorted hot sauce, shrimp, beef jerky, assorted olives, celery, peperoncinis, pickled okra, lemon and lime
