See the formerly controversial once Mrs. Kurt Cobain as Courtney Love headlines at the House of Blues on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 8pm.
The performer Rolling Stone called “the most controversial woman in the history of rock” is coming to the Bayou City to play the House of Blues for one night. She was the lead singer of Hole, releasing the platinum album Live Through This and she surprised and captivated audiences as an actress in the films The People vs. Larry Flynt and Man on the Moon.
Love will perform cuts from albums Celebrity Skin and Nobody’s Daughter, including “Violet,” “Miss World,” “Celebrity Skin” and “Malibu.” The opening act will be Starred, the Brooklyn-based duo building buzz for their haunting and aggressive debut EP, Prison to Prison.
A limited number of “Comp” tickets are available. You essentially pay a ticketing fee that’s about the same as a coffee or a quick lunch.
