If it weren’t for the sweet, delectable scents that hit your nostrils when you pass through the door, you might mistake Macaron by Patisse for an exclusive, upscale jewelry boutique. But this establishment in the River Oaks Shopping Center is so much better than that – as are the gems it sells.
The upscale bakery and pastry purveyor offers macrons in more than 20 flavors, including seasonal treats like Bailey’s Irish Cream for St. Patrick’s Day.
You can buy a box of a dozen of the French pastries to go, or simply indulge in one (or two, or three) with a loose leaf tea or Italian Soda. And if you can pry yourself away from the macarons, you’ll also find fresh mini-pies, cake balls, mini-cupcakes, profiteroles, and mini-eclairs on display (and for sale).
