  • Erick The Architect at House of Blues – Out of Brooklyn, the rapper and producer Erick the Architect brings his Mandevillian tour to the House of Blues stage. $20 and up. 7pm.
  • CultureMap Tastemaker Awards at Silver Street Studios – This annual foodie event celebrates Houston’s top restaurant and bar talent, as selected by their peers. Mingle with all the nominees, enjoy tasty bites from local chefs and hotspots, sip specialty drinks, and cheer on the winners as they are unveiled. $60 and up. 7pm.
  • Comedian Maria Bamford at Houston Improv – The comedian, actor and writer comes to the Spring Branch club for hilarious night of comedy. Bamford is known for her deeply personal and experimental comedy about mental illness, including her semi-autobiographical Netflix series, Lady Dynamite. $25 and up. 7:30pm.
  • Galvezton Live Set at Under the Volcano – Vibe to an evening of island rock in the intimate venue in West U. $15. 8pm.

  • MLB Opening Day: Astros at Vallensons’ Brewing Company | No Cover – Grab all your Astros gear and head out to Pearland for the season opener against the Yankees with big screens and Maid for the Haze NEIPA on tap. Go ‘Stros! 3pm.
  • 30th Anniversary: A 3-Part Celebration at Project Row Houses – As the Third Ward arts institution enters its fourth decade, join an all-night party that starts with happy hour drinks and entertainment at the row houses, followed by live performances at Emancipation Park, and an afterparty at the legendary Eldorado Ballroom. $75 and up. 5pm to midnight.
  • Plant & Paint & Sip at Saint Arnold Brewing Company – Don your finest gardening gloves to paint your new easy-care houseplant’s terracotta pot and receive advice on how to keep it thriving. Each participant receives a free pint. $37. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Billecart-Salmon Wine Dinner at Georgia James – It’s the best of both worlds at this four-course dinner with wines from the world-class Champagnes of Billecart-Salmon wines in this specially crafted menu. $250. 6:30pm.
  • Drag Bingo at Eureka Heights Brewing Company | FREE – It’s a BYOD (bring your own dauber) event with your favorite bingo host with the most, Miss Gay Southwest America, Dessie Love-Blake, so pull up a bench and win some prizes. Daubers available for $2. 7pm.
  • Mahogany Movie Screening at the DeLuxe Theater – Fashionistas, come dressed in your best ’70s garb and cheer on the infamous Diana Ross in this iconic movie celebrating classic Black cinema, screening at the legendary Fifth Ward theater. $10 and up. 7:30pm.
  • Zafer Atabey DJ Set at Bauhaus – Techno music fans line up to see the Extima label boss in his Bauhaus debut. $10 and up. 10pm.

  • Easter Spring Market at SpindleTap Brewery | FREE – The sprawling brewery in North Houston hosts a spring market for Easter, filled with an array of local artisans and small businesses to shop while you sip on tasty craft brews. 11am.
  • Sazon Latin Food Festival at Karbach Brewery | FREE – Delicious Latin food will be represented with all the best flavors from the Caribbean, Central and South America, along with music and drinks—so come hungry. 11am to 8pm.
  • Comedian Zakir Khan at Stafford Centre – The widely popular stand-up comic of India, who has millions of social media followers, brings his hard-to-resist style of humor and take on modern India. 7pm.
  • Amaarae in Concert at White Oak Music Hall – Following up last year’s critic favorite release, Fountain Baby, the pop artist that fuses R&B, Afrobeats and Alté brings all her new tunes to the White Oak stage. $30. 7pm.
  • Comedian Alec Flynn at The Riot Comedy Club – His laid-back style of comedy is golden as audiences embraced his Don’t Tell Comedy appearance, which you can now catch upstairs at Rudyard’s Pub in Montrose. $20. 7pm and 9pm.
  • Dinner with Detox at Rich’s Houston – Be part of this exclusive dinner show reserved for just 100 lucky guests, featuring Detox from RuPaul’s Drag Race fresh off Madonna’s stage, and hosted by Houston’s own Blackberri. $350 and up. 7pm to 10pm.
  • ’80s Night at Post Houston | FREE – Rock out with RōZY, who bring the greatest hits from the ’80s, while you enjoy the Houston skyline and tasty cocktails.Free to attend; reserved seating is $15. 8pm.
  • Bone Thugs-N-Harmony in Concert at Home Run Dugout in Katy – Head to the lawn for the chance to experience this live performance by the iconic rap group in the exclusive Beer Garden Baseball Field setting. $40. 8pm.
  • Madonna Worship Night at Space Cowboy – After back-to-back concerts, celebrate the Queen of Pop with this night of her songs at the Heights area bar and hotel. Cover charge at the door. 9pm.
  • Nina Flowers DJ Set at South Beach – The Puerto Rican drag queen and DJ, Nina Flowers delivers a set at South Beach in Montrose. $10 and up. 9pm.
  • Robin Schulz DJ Set at Stereo Live – The Grammy-nominated DJ and producer is ready to unveil his fifth studio album, PINK, and bring his immense talent to the dance floor with his electrifying performance. $19.99. 10pm.

Sunday, March 31, 2024 

  • Easter Sunday at King’s BierHaus – Make early plans for this brunch-only event in the Heights with delicious made-from-scratch European favorites and American classics. 11am to 3pm.
  • 45th Bunnies on the Bayou at Wortham Center – The nonprofit fundraiser for Houston’s LGBTQIA+ community returns to the shores of Buffalo Bayou with their signature annual outdoor festival, with cocktails and beer on offer, plenty of dancing and live DJs, games, and more. Ages 21 and up. $65 and up. 1pm to 6pm.
  • Adult Easter Egg Hunt at the Wildcatter Saloon – More than $2,000 in prizes are up for grabs at this annual Easter egg hunt for adults only at the Wildcatter Saloon in Katy. $10. 3pm.
  • Comedian J Cann at Warehouse Live Midtown – Houston’s own is taking the stage with his laugh-out-loud material that’s making an impact in the comedy world. $85 and up. 7pm and 9pm.  
  • Poetry Lounge Sunday at Henke & Pillot – The weekly spoken word show returns to the Downtown nightlife spot, which also includes a set from DJ El Guapo, drinks, food and more. $10 and up. 7pm to 10pm.
