- Houston Rodeo: Thomas Rhett at NRG Park – The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo present alternative country singer Thomas Rhett in concert at NRG Park as part of their 2018 rodeo lineup. Tickets start at $18, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s online resale market. 6:45pm.
- Disney Princess Trivia at Under the Radar Brewery | No Cover – Show off what you know about Disneys royal princesses at this trivia night at Under the Radar Brewery. There will be prizes for the winning trivia team as well as best Disney princess outfit. 7pm to 10pm.
- H-Town Collective in Concert at Sambuca | No Cover – The H-Town Collective musicians play a variety of jazz, funk, blues, and rock at Sambuca in Downtown. 7pm to 11pm.
- Dead Meadow in Concert at White Oak Music Hall – Catch the psychedelic rock band, Dead Meadow at White Oak Music Hall with openers Ganesha and Warlung. Tickets range from $13 to $17. 8pm.
- Houston Pride Band Karaoke at Guava Lamp – Join the Houston Pride Band for karaoke and enjoy $3 Cosmos at the LGBT nightclub, Guava Lamp. 100% of the proceeds from the raffle will go to supporting the Houston Pride Band. Cover charge at the door. 9pm.

- St. Patrick’s Parade Weekly Happy Hour at Platypus Brewing | No Cover – Platypus Brewing hosts a weekly happy hour to raise funds for the St. Patrick’s Parade that features Irish Dancers and live music. 5pm.

- Grease Movie Screening at City Acre Brewing Co. | No Cover – Whether you are a Pink Lady or a Thunderbird, everyone is welcome to watch a screening of the movie musical, Grease at City Acre Brewing Co. In honor of the ’50s theme, they will be serving up some ’50s diner classics like hamburgers, a chocolate strawberry stout shake and more. 7pm to 9pm.
- Flogging Molly in Concert at House of Blues – Rock out to the Irish-American seven-piece Celtic punk band, Flogging Molly at House of Blues in Downtown. Tickets start at $35.90. 7pm.
- CSz presents The EaDo Comedy Show – Catch plenty of high-energy characters, fast-paced scenes, and personal absurdities in The Eado Comedy Show, CSz Houston’s long-form improv show that draws from the fun East Downtown neighborhood vibe. Full price tickets are $10, but limited comped (you only pay ticketing fees) and discounted $5 tickets available. 8pm.
- Pod Save America Tour at Jones Hall – Jon, Jon, Tommy, Dan, and special guests bring the Pod Save America show to Jones Hall for a live conversation about politics, and the press. Tickets start at $39.50. 8pm.
- Thursday Night Dart Tourney at Rudyard’s British Pub – Every Thursday, the Houston Darts Association and Rudyard’s hosts a Blind Draw Doubles tournament where you can play for cash prizes. Entry fees will be determined at the start of the tournament, but they are generally $7. 8pm.

- Beers & Art at Saint Arnold Brewing Co. | No Cover – Shop Local Market and Saint Arnold Brewing Co. host a Beer & Art market with plenty of local vendors and makers and cold brews. 5pm to 10pm.
- Opening Reception: Margin and Center at Houston Center for Photography | No Cover – The exhibition Margin and Center features artists from around the world whose work explores the edges of identities, geographies, disciplines, and ideas, and identifies constructed separations. 5:30pm.
- Dog Yoga at Under the Radar Brewery – Bring your best pup friend for an evening Dog Yoga class hosted by Yoga & Hops at Under the Radar Brewery. You must register for this class. 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
- Houston Scotch & Beer Fest at India House – Sample whiskey and beer from all over the world, plus sip on some wines in between, all which benefit the Veterans Non-Profit Organization. - 10 Year Anniversary Party at Southern Star Brewing Co. | No Cover – Celebrate 10 years of Southern Star Brewing with discounted craft beers, live music, a Bombshell Blonde look-alike contest, and prizes. To commemorate the occasion, Southern Star will release an imperial version of their popular IPA, Half Nelson. Noon to 10pm.
- Opening Reception: Neighborhood Fantasies at Project Row Houses | No Cover – Enjoy the opening reception for Neighborhood Fantasies, an art exhibition that integrates the spirit of an emerging art photographer Evan Coleman with the work of Project Row Houses founding artist Jesse Lott. 4pm to 6pm.

- High Waisted in Concert at Axelrad | No Cover – Catch the quirky ’60s garage band High Waisted with openers Cold Fronts at the Axelrad beer garden in Midtown. 7pm.
- Salsa & Bachata Party at El Big Bad – Learn how to dance Salsa and Bachata with the Latin Dance Factory and then show off your moves at a social dance party at El Big Bad in Downtown. Tickets are $15 for the class and the dance event; $10 for the dance event only. 8pm.
- Dope: The Headphone Experience (Silent Party) – The first in the planned Dope Experience event series, the evening party will showcase some of Houston’s best DJs, who will be performing live. Party-goers will hear their performances on their own personal headsets and be able to toggle between DJs with the flip of a switch. Screens and projectors will be set up for music video sets. Tickets are $25 in advance; $35 the week of the event. 9pm.
- Yeah, Houston Parties! Vol. 5 at Fox Hollow – Yeah, Houston Parties, a monthly dance night features many local DJ’s spinning trap, Latin, hip-hop, and dance music at Fox Hollow. Admission Free with RSVP; $5 cover charge. 9pm.
- The Late Show: Bathtub Full of Gin at Prohibition Supperclub – Step into the Roaring ’20s, when skirts were short and booze was a secret pleasure. Bathtub Full of Gin is Terrible Enfant’s Theatre Company’s new spectacular immersive dance party series, where evocative theatre performances combine with high energy electro swing music. Tickets are $20 for standing; $35 for seated, but limited, discounted $10 standing tickets are available for most shows. 11:30pm.

- Houston Rodeo: Calibre 50 at NRG Park – The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo present the Regional Mexican quartet, Calibre 50 in concert at NRG Park as part of their 2018 rodeo lineup for Go Tejano Day. - Starset in Concert at White Oak Music Hall – Watch the rock band Starset with openers Palisades, Grabbitz, and Year Locust at White Oak Music Hall. Tickets start at $18. 6pm to 11pm.
- PMT Pop Up: ’00s Cabaret at The Continental Club – As part of its ongoing cabaret series which pops up for one night only at various performance spaces downtown, Pitch Me This (PMT) Productions is back with its latest, featuring throwback hits from the years 2000-2010. A variety of fresh local talent stars in the show, backed by a live band, at Midtown’s Continental Club. Tickets start at $5, but you may be able to find comp tickets. 8pm.
