  • Get Lucky with HYP at Wicklow Heights – Wear green and join the Heights Young Professionals for drink specials, prizes, and light bites at Wicklow Heights. Tickets are $10 in advance; $15 at the door. 5pm to 8pm.
  • St. Patrick’s Parade Weekly Happy Hour at Platypus Brewing | No Cover – Platypus Brewing hosts a weekly happy hour to raise funds for the St. Patrick’s Parade that features Irish Dancers and live music. 5pm.
  • HeART & Harmony at The Space HTX – Experience an evening of art and music at The Space HTX to benefit care for Houstonians experiencing homelessness. General admission starts at $125. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Vibrations & Libations Mixer: The Science of Love at The Health Museum | FREE – Enjoy art, film, music, food, and drink, while checking out the interactive, sensory exhibit BioRhythm and celebrating the launch of the new biology-based matchmaking app Pheramor. The event starts at 7pm with a talk by Dr. Brittany Barreto, geneticist and Pheramor cofounder, who will discuss how biology affects your compatibility and finding your soul mate. No cover, but RSVPs are strongly recommended. Talk at 6pm; mixer from 7pm to 10pm.
  • The Electro Heights Music Showcase at CAMH | No Cover – See a performance that melds contemporary art and synth/MIDI-driven music with bands at the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. 6:30pm.
  • Houston Rodeo: Blake Shelton in Concert at NRG Park – The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo present country singer, songwriter, and The Voice talent coach, Blake Shelton in concert at NRG Park as part of their 2018 rodeo lineup. Tickets start at $18, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s online resale market. 6:45pm.
  • Bob Biggerstaff at The Houston Improv Best known for his time spent on Comedy CentralBob & Tom and Last Comic Standing, H-Town native and ultimate Houston sports and movie aficionado, Bob Biggerstaff is bringing his 2018 comedy tour to his hometown for one night only. Tickets are $10. If you act quick, 365 Houston readers can score 2-for-1 tickets with promocode Bob365. 8pm.
  • Mike Love in Concert at Warehouse Live – Jam out to the reggae sounds of Mike Love for The Great Remembering 2018 Tour at Warehouse Live. Jungle Man Sam opens the show. Tickets are $12 in advance and $14 at the door. 8pm.
  • A Night in Havana at Prohibition Supperclub & Bar – Experience dancing the cha cha cha, boleros, mambo, salsa, and pachanga to the seductive rhythm of rotating authentic Cuban Bands. The Moonlight Dolls and Prohibition Supperclub & Bar present this monthly sensual spectacular. Dressing 1950s Havana-style is encouraged. Tickets are $10, but you may find limited discounted tickets for $5. 9pm.

  • Swing Rendezvous in Concert at MKT Bar – Enjoy this Gypsy Jazz dinner featuring tunes you can dance to by Swing Rendezvous at MKT Bar in Downtown. Noon to 3pm.
  • Four on the Fourth at Lei Low | No Cover – The tiki bar in The Heights, Lei Low celebrates their 4 year anniversary where you can grab a limited edition Lei Low fog cutter tiki mug and enjoy some cake, drink specials, and surf rock by the Phantomatics. Aloha wear is encouraged. 2pm.
  • Tycho DJ Set at Stereo Live Houston – Members of the psychedelic rock band Tycho spin a DJ set at the Stereo Live nightclub. Tickets are $20. 6pm to 10pm.
  • Sam Harris and the Waking Up Podcast at Revention Music Center – Join neuroscientist, philosopher, and best-selling author Sam Harris as he explores important and controversial questions about the human mind, society, and current events ar Revention Music Center. Tickets start at $35. 7pm.
  • Couples Therapy Comedy Retreat at Houston Improv – Hosted by Houston Improv club favorite Alan Adams, this romantic comedy show will find Adams delivering his views on relationships with quick-fire wit, stone face delivery, and sarcastically venomous punch-lines. Tickets range from $15 to $25, but you can score 2-for-1 tickets with promocode Couples21 if you act quickly. 7:30pm.
