This booming commercial district boasts a bevy of restaurants, boutiques, and thriving businesses, with gems lining every nook and cranny.

And, as luck would have it, many of those gems offer thirst-quenching happy hours.

Note: For the purposes of this list, Upper Kirby and Greenway Plaza are defined by the area covered in this map.

Happy hour makes this crowd-pleaser even more pleasing.

That’s when Picos offers happy hour–priced Mexican Martinis, Ranchwaters, Pico Ritas, and more.

Pair ’em with cochinita pibil nachos, tuna tostada, and a Happy Hour Picos Burger with bacon, onion jam, and habanero aïoli.

Happy Hour all day Monday & Tuesday; Wednesday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm.

Eunice

From Executive Chef Drake Leonards, Eunice offers Cajun Creole brasserie-style eats that are both refined and dang tasty—Hearth Roasted Oysters with brown butter breadcrumbs, Smoked Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee, and Cajun Duck Poppers.

Pop in during happy hour to enjoy all the goodness while scoring discounted prices on select cocktails, beer, and select wines by the glass.

Daily from 3pm to 6pm.

Kirby Ice House

Get an early start on happy hour at the always hoppin’ Kirby Ice House.

With food trucks in the sprawling yard, a huge indoor space for hotter days, a killer tap menu, and plenty of TVs for games, it’s one of the chillest hangouts in town.

Look out for daily specials including Industry Mondays, $1 off Pint Night Tuesdays, Steak Night and Texas Booze Wednesdays, Thursday Ladies Nights, and Happy Hour Fridays.

Weekdays from 2pm to 7pm.

Money Cat

A little sibling to Katy’s Tobiuo Sushi & Bar, Money Cat puts a modern spin on Japanese classics, rocking a wallet-friendly daily happy hour to boot.

Enjoy $6 house wines, $5-6 sake, $3 Japanese beers, and house cocktails like the Japanese Old Fashioned ($12) and Lychee Martini ($10), alongside craveworthy bites including Maitake Karaage, Tempura Pickles, Mussels Okonomiyaki and Katsu Sando ($4-$15),  and sets of nigiri and sashimi ($36).

In addition, Mondays offer all day social hour and on Wednesdays, all wine bottles are half off.

Daily from 3pm to 6pm (Monday all day).

Roka Akor

RokaHour goes down in Japanese sushi and steakhouse Roka Akor’s bar and lounge daily.

Munch on $3 to $12 bites including Oysters, Crispy Spicy Tuna Rolls, Pork Belly Bao, Robata Grilled Scallop, Wagyu Dumplings, and Prime Beef Skewers.

Daily from 4:30pm to 6pm.
