Celebrate the harvest season in India with food, music and dance at the 10th annual Houston Holi: The Festival of Colors at Houston Farm and Ranch on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
The largest Holi celebration in the nation, Houston Holi drew in more than 17,000 people last year for lively family-friendly party.
Attendees can get blasted with color, dance to DJs spinning Bollywood and EDM, take in cultural performances, watch Dhol players, sample delicious Indian food, go for a spin on the carnival rides, and more.
This year’s festival features headliner Jay Sean, the nation’s biggest South Asian artist. He’s certain to take the festivities up a notch with his brand of catchy Bhangra-infused R&B.
Festival of Colors for All Ages
The festival of colors is fun for people of all ages and walks of life offering a full day of exciting events and performances to celebrate the harvest season in India.
Guests are encouraged to wear white, as they will throw and be covered in brightly colored powder – an organic, non-toxic substance made from herbs.
It will be a full day of fun, starting with the lighting of the Ceremonial Holi Bonfire to kick off the afternoon and concluding with a foam party to cap off the excitement.
In the event of heavy downpour, a rain date has been set for Sunday, March 26 if necessary.
