- 39th Annual MLK Jr. Parade & Celebration at Minute Maid Park | Monday, January 16 | FREE to Attend – Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by marching or just watching the MLK Jr. Parade in Downtown. 10am.
- MLK Day at Children’s Museum | Monday, January 16 – March down the Kid’s Hall at the Children’s Museum in celebration of civil rights for MLK Day. Tickets are $5. Noon.
- Kidtastic on The Square at Memorial City | Wednesday, January 18 | FREE to Attend – Join Gymboree Play & Music for a morning of fun at The Square in Memorial City Mall. Ages 1 to 4 years old. 10am to 11:30pm.
- Rainbow on Ice at Discovery Green | Thursday, January 19 – The city’s family-friendly city-wide LGBT celebration returns to Discovery Green for a chilly winter party with electrifying entertainment. The event is free to attend and open to everyone, but $14 skating fees apply. 7pm to 10pm.
