- Rodney Carrington in Concert at Revention Music Center – See comedian and country music artist Rodney Carrington on his Here Comes The Truth Tour at Revention Music Center. Tickets start at $44.75, not including ticket fees. 7pm.
- Wiesenthal at The Grand – See this play that pays tribute to Simon Wiesenthal, also known as the Jewish James Bond, who brought more than 1,000 Nazi war criminals to justice over the span of his life. Tickets start at $19.80, not including ticket fees. 8pm.
- Fade To Black Reading Series at The MATCH – Hear readings of plays like “Baby Names”, “Cops Lives Matter”, and “Perceptions” by black playwrights as part of the Fade To Black Play Festival at The MATCH. $15. 8pm.
- Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto at Jones Hall – Pianist Behzod Abduraimov will make his Houston Symphony debut with Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5, Emperor at this concert at Jones Hall. Tickets start at $25, not including ticket fees. 8pm.

- A Walk in the Woods at Terry Hershey Park | FREE – Take a stroll through Terry Hershey Park with Bayou City Outdoors to explore the lesser known areas in this 90-minute hike. 10am to 11:30am.
- Renaissance Women Summit at JW Marriott Downtown – Connect with other female business leaders, identify resources and opportunities and more at this summit at JW Marriott. Tickets start at $200, not including ticket fees. 10am to 4pm.
- Family Fun Day at The MATCH | FREE to Attend – Bring the whole family to The Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston as they host their 2nd Annual Family Fun Day and enjoy a wide range of kids activities like live music, a magician, an indoor bounce house and more. 1pm to 4pm.

- 39th Annual MLK Jr. Parade & Celebration at Minute Maid Park | FREE – Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as The Black Heritage Society Organization presents the 39th Annual Dr. MLK Jr. Parade in Downtown. 10am.
- “Dinner with My Friends” at Fluff Bake Bar – Chef Rebecca Masson welcomes chef Richie Nakano of Hapa Ramen in San Francisco for an intimate six-course dinner with beer and wine pairings. 5pm.
- Life Drawing Studio at Galveston Arts Center – Live models will pose as you draw them with charcoal or pencil at this weekly event at Galveston Arts Center. $10. 5:30pm.
- Cúrate, Katie Button, and Catalan Throwback at Underbelly – Katie Button, Food & Wine Best New Chef and author of Cúrate: Authentic Spanish Food from an American Kitchen, will join chef Chris Shepherd for a menu of authentic Spanish dishes with a twist at Underbelly. Guests will receive a copy of Button’s cookbook. $150. 6:30pm.
