Join Chef Monica Pope at private dinner prepared in an outstanding Houston home at the final Sunday Supper with the Pope on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 4pm to 7pm.

Sparrow Bar & Cookshop‘s own celebrity chef will again take over the kitchen of an amazing Houston home for the year’s final edition of her Sunday Supper with the Pope series. Guests will be indulged with a casual communal dinner complete with cocktails, beverages and wine at a grand, 100-year old home on Courtlandt Place in Montrose.

Listed for sale at almost $2.4 million by John Daugherty, Realtors, and designed by Birdsall Briscoe, the home is listed in the National Historical Registry.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Herman Park Conversancy, a citizens’ organization dedicated to the stewardship and improvement of Hermann Park today and for generations to come.

Copies of Houston’s Courtland Place by Sallie Gordon and Penny Jones will also be available for purchase for $24.
