Peruse the works of seven local printmakers at Ink&Image, an exhibit in conjunction with PrintHouston 2014, at Archway Gallery in Montrose from Saturday, June 7 to Thursday, July 10, 2014.

What do linoleum, wood and rice paper have in common? They’re all part of the printmaking craft celebrated throughout Houston as part of PrintHouston 2014.

Archway Gallery in Montrose presents Ink&Image, featuring prints by guest artists Andis Applewhite, Cathie Kayser, Anna Mavromatis, Elvia Perrin, Bede Van Dyke, David Webb and gallery artist Mary Lee Gray. Following its debut on Saturday, June 7, 2014, the exhibition will be on view through Thursday, July 10, 2014.

Ink&Image highlights the breadth of contemporary printmaking with works by seven area printmakers. Archway Gallery is one of the venues for PrintHouston 2014; this is the fourth annual city-wide celebration of the ancient art of printmaking showcasing a variety of printmaking art forms as individual as the artists themselves.
